TNR Gold Featured in Resource World June-July 2009, Midas Newsletter, & The Wall Street Transcript

Vancouver B.C.: TNR Gold Corp. ("TNR" or the "Company") is pleased to announce Resource World has featured TNR’s Mariana property in its latest cover story on Potash. In June 2009, TNR’s Fish Valley Lake lithium brine project was also featured in Resource World’s June 2009 feature on lithium. Resource World is a monthly independent magazine reporting on the business of mining, oil & gas, alternative energy, and all the events that affect these sectors. The Fish Lake Valley property, covered in June 2009 Lithium article from Resource World, is approximately 25 miles from Clayton Valley, which contains the only lithium producer in the United States and the only lithium brine producer in North America. Clayton Valley has been in production since 1967. Drilling and surface brine sampling were done by USGS (US Geological Survey) and is available on TNR website. We believe that there are significant geological similarities between Clayton Valley and Fish Lake Valley and that these contribute to a trap in which lithium brine may have accumulated.

The Mariana property, featured in July 2009 Resource World, is a large 120 squared kilometre claim covering the entire salar (salt lake) in Salta, Argentina. Historical sampling reported significant lithium, boron, and potash levels in brines and sediments within the main body of the salar. Four of seven water samples collected in the shallow subsurface over approximately 3 km returned values from 188 to 283 mg/L lithium, and 423 to 698 mg/L boron. This confirms that there are some brines present with concentrations similar to those found at producing salares in North and South America.

TNR is also pleased to announce it is featured in The Wall Street Transcript’s Alternative Energy and July 2009 edition. The Wall Street Transcript is a completely unique resource for investors and business researchers. Thousands of in-depth interviews with CEOs, Industry Analysts and Professional Money Managers going back 10 years. Section of the Article can be seen here:
